The progression of a legacy of BMW Films has come to this, THE CALM.

Join THE i7 M70 and executive producer, Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) on the set of THE CALM as we go behind the scenes of BMW Films’ latest epic chapter in film making.

The crew behind the short film wanted to use BMW’s most powerful all-electric vehicle to date as a “central character” in the film, with a particular focus on its dual personality: stealth, and power.

Watch as director Sam Hargrave (Extraction) creates the iconic silent car chase, and how he was able to use the silence on THE i7 M70 to create a tense, and exhilarating sequence.

BMW Films presents the next chapter in its legacy of action, built for the big screen, THE CALM.

THE i7 M70 stars alongside Pom Klementieff in this thrill ride that takes the Guardians of the Galaxy star on a mission to Cannes, France, the night the stars are set to walk the red carpet at Festival de Cannes 2023.

On her journey to the luxurious French Riviera, Pom must fight off stunt performer Nathaniel Perry and enter a game of wits with Hollywood icon, Uma Thurman, in which she receives a golden briefcase.
