China will not sit back if the country's interest is harmed: Chinese Foreign Ministry official
중국, 한일 나토 교류에 "중국 이익 해치면 좌시안해"
The Chinese government vows to respond if its interests are harmed.
That's coming from the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson at a briefing on Thursday.
When asked about the participation of Asian countries in the NATO summit Zhao Lijian said the advancement of relations between countries must aid international peace and stability,...without causing hostility or harming the interests of third parties.
He added Beijing will observe NATO closely.
The organization announced on Wednesday that China's policies challenge the bloc's "interests, security, and values."
