Nasi Ayam Hainan adalah salah satu hidangan populer di Malaysia dan Singapura. Sangat simple tapi nikmat, bahan utama Nasi Ayam Hainan ini menggunakan beras dan ayam yang dibumbui dengan jahe, bawang putih dan minyak wijen. Menu ini sangat cocok untuk dijadikan menu sahur atau buka puasa, atau menu sehat tapi nikmat untuk dihidangkan kepada keluarga.

Resep Nasi Ayam
Bahan marinasi ayam:
1 ekor ayam
3 sdm saus tiram
2 sdm arak masak
1 sdm minyak wijen
4 sdt garam
1 sdt merica
1 sdt penyedap
2 sdm jahe iris
3 sdm tepung tapioka
Bahan lainnya:
800 ml / 650 gr beras
800 ml air
5 sdm minyak goreng
1 bonggol bawang putih
2 batang daun bawang
Langkah:
1. Potong ayam kecil-kecil, masukkan dalam wadah
2. Cincang bawang putih
3. Panaskan minyak, tumis bawang putih hingga kuning keemasan
4. Iris tipis jahe seperti korek api. Campurkan ke dalam ayam
5. Masukkan tepung tapioka, saus tiram, garam, penyedap, dan merica. Aduk rata, lalu marinasi selama 15-30 menit
6. Masukkan beras dan air ke dalam rice cooker
7. Masukkan minyak bawang putih
8. Masukkan ayam yang sudah dimarinasi di atasnya, jangan diaduk. Masak nasi ayam hingga matang
9. Potong daun bawang lalu campurkan dengan nasi, aduk rata
10. Nasi Ayam siap disajikan

Hainanese Chicken Rice is a popular dish in Malaysian and Singaporean foods. Simple but delicious, this Hainanese Chicken Rice's main ingredients are rice and chicken, marinated with ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. This menu is very suitable for Suhoor or Iftar, or as a healthy yet delicious menu for families.
Steamed Chicken Rice Recipe
Chicken marinade ingredients:
1 whole chicken
3 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp cooking wine
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp flavor enhancers
2 tbsp sliced ginger
3 tbsp tapioca flour
Other ingredients:
800 ml / 650 g rice
800 ml water
5 tbsp cooking oil
1 whole garlic
2 leeks
Steps:
1. Chop the chicken into little pieces, set aside in a bowl
2. Mince the garlic
3. Heat the oil, sauté the garlic until it turns golden
4. Slice the ginger into matchsticks. Add to the chicken.
5. Add tapioca flour, oyster sauce, salt, flavor enhancers, and pepper. Mix well and marinate for 15-30 minutes
6. Add rice and water into the rice cooker
7. Add the garlic oil
8. Add marinated chicken on top, do not stir. Cook chicken rice until done.
9. Chop the leeks and mix well with rice.
10. Steamed Chicken Rice is ready to serve
