Flower Blossom Mini Butter Cookies | Eggless Recipe | Natural Color 富贵花开曲奇
Made these two-tone butter cookies to resemble flower blossom. The red color is using natural food color powder. I chose red because red is Chinese’s good luck color and they are perfect for the coming of Chinese New Year.
The mini flower blossom butter cookies are eggless, buttery and crispy. I replaced some of the flour with bread flour so the piped cookies can hold their shape better. It also gives a nice slight crunch to the cookies!!
Ingredients:
1)Butter – 50g
2)Icing Sugar – 20g
3)Bread Flour – 25g
4)All Purpose Flour – 25g
5)Corn Starch – 10g
6)Natural Food Color Powder
*Yield 32 pcs cookies.
*Please use heavy duty piping bag. If your piping bag isn’t thick enough, just use two bags at the same time to prevent the bag from breaking while piping the cookie dough.

用天然色素做这个花开富贵曲奇。特意选了红色,红彤彤的很喜气,特别适合来临的华人新年。曲奇的口感是酥的,带一点脆,吃起来没那么腻口。
材料:
1)牛油 – 50g
2)糖粉 – 20g
3)高筋面粉 – 25g
4)中筋面粉 – 25g
5)玉米淀粉 – 10g
6)天然色粉
*共做了32片饼干。
*用厚一点的裱花袋;若是薄的,要用两个,不然容易挤破。
