This week's home is a complete makeover of a 15 year old resale HDB flat in Sengkang. Homeowners Jolene and Yi Peng opted to go for a resale flat after trying (and failing) 10 times for a BTO. It turned out to be the right decision for them as Jolene has always wanted to create a unique space of their own. But unlike many other couples, they chose to go down a more unconventional route - designing a home of their own and engaging their own contractor.

With the only thing left from the old home being the marble floor, the home just has such a diverse range of colours but it all comes together harmoniously and looks very cosy at the same time. We really like the snug reading nook near the dining room, and their spare room that has been turned into an office is an inspired choice in this pandemic era. The home office has a feature wall along with a very comfortable (and dressed up) day bed - its the best of both worlds.

Special thanks to Jolene and Yi Peng for taking the time to show us around their creatively styled home. For more interior design tips and features on their home, please visit @februarynest
