Inside A Serene Spa-Like HDB Home With A Tranquil Indoor “Rainforest”
This week, we visit a unique 5-room BTO HDB home in Bukit Panjang. Self-designed by homeowners Seri and Jason, they’ve made the space specifically to cater to their own taste and lifestyle.
Due to Jason’s occupation in a noisy work environment, he wanted their home to be one of a serene and peaceful environment. Hence, they have installed a Paludarium - something you don’t often find in a home in Singapore. For those who are unfamiliar with the term, it’s basically a combination of an aquarium and terrarium or more simply having forest and water elements together. They even allocated space behind to perhaps extend it even more in the future!
Because the space is self-designed, they were able to think of their needs above all. Another space this was done was the kitchen where the storage was built specifically to cater to the amount of equipment they had.
In their master bedroom, the walls were hacked to have a proper walk-in wardrobe, and they installed a platform bed as well so as to be able to have more storage space.
Special thanks to Seri and Jason for showing us around their unique home! For more details on their home please visit: https://www.instagram.com/wwanderhaus/
