Pilates Workout with Weights on the Mat for Beginners & Seniors // Full Body Exercises
Thanks for joining me for this fun Pilates class using light weights. All of the exercises will be performed on the mat and are suitable for beginners and seniors.
Light hand weights are optional, but add a nice toning benefit to this workout. For reference, I’m using 2 pound weights. You could also use water bottles or cans of soup, or wrist weights!
Pilates on the mat is a full body workout using all the major muscle groups in the body! As always, keep your core engaged and go at your own pace. Be kind to your body and to yourself. Every time you workout with me you will get stronger!
