iPhone SE (2020) Review | Four Months Later
Reviewing Apple's iPhone SE 2020, four months after the original release, to see if this 'value' smartphone is a viable alternative to mid-range Androids. The likes of the Pixel 4A, OnePlus Nord and Moto G 5G Plus sadly outshine the iPhone SE in many ways, from camera performance to media chops and battery life. Here's my real life experience with Apple's 'budget' mobile, let me know yours below.
You can grab this phone from £419 SIM free or £39 on contract from Vodafone here in the UK:

To list the pros of this blower, I like the compact finish, and elements of the design. The display is too tiny for watching movies but visuals are crisp and colourful, while the stereo speakers impress. And with Apple's A13 chipset on board, the iPhone SE 2020 is great for gaming.
However, the single lens camera is a relic, offering poor quality photos in less than good conditions. HDR snaps and night shots in particular are rubbish. Battery life is another big problem, as I rarely made it to bed without prematurely topping up that tiny cell.
I'm not a huge fan of iOS despite its many redeeming qualities, especially as iOS 13 seems more buggy than ever. Plus, there's no headphone jack, no 90Hz refresh rate, no 5G support...
That's my review of the iPhone SE 2020, but let me know your own thoughts down below!
