Scott Mills and Chris Stark - Final sign off on BBC Radio 1, August 25th 2022 #LoveYouBye

After 24 years since Scott Mills joined, and 10 years Chris Stark joined and hosted together for a decade, the funniest duo on radio has presented their last show together on BBC Radio 1.

After so many years of highlights, amazing segments, celebrities and heaps more, Scott and Chris made the decision to leave Radio 1 on July 1st 2022 and announced their show will be their final on August 25th.

One Direction's "Night Changes" led out as their final song ever on the show.

Scott Mills will still remain at the BBC, and will join Radio 2 later in September as he will replace Steven Wright in the afternoon, while for Chris Stark, he'll depart not Radio 1, but for the BBC as he will embark on a new journey to join Global radio station, Capital to co-host the breakfast show with Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Sian Welby later in the year.

Dean McCullough and Vicky Hawkesworth, who will be replacing Scott and Chris, will start broadcasting their new Monday-Thursday show from 5th September.
