Recently, we had the opportunity to stay in a showflat for 24 hours to really get a better feel for what The Hyde has to offer with a special guest - Ghib Ojisan! While he may be better known for his vlogs showcasing some of the lesser known sights in Singapore (and food), he does have a keen interest in property in Singapore, having done a few of his own condo tours!

About The Hyde:

The Hyde is a boutique freehold condo located at Balmoral Road in District 10. With just 117 units, it features a unique facade inspired by the Serpentine Pavilions in Hyde Park, London. Developed by Aurum Land (a boutique developer backed by Woh Hup), some of its standout facilities includes a Sky Club that overlooks the unblocked Goodwood Hills and a unique Constellation Pool - with LED lights that gives it some sparkle in the evenings.

We also like the inclusion of the Sashless windows, something that is commonly used in landed developments but is the first time it has made an appearance in a condo development (watch the video for more!)

All that said, while it does enjoy a central location, its biggest flaw is the lack of an MRT station within walking distance (although you do get free shuttle service for the first year).
