Mate is Founder and CEO of Rimac Automobili. The groundwork for the company began in 2007, when Rimac first converted a BMW E30 that was almost four years older than he was at the time, into a electric car. In 2013 he started the serial production of his first electric sports car the Rimac Concept One (Concept_One).
