In this tutorial I’ll show you a very fast way of making realistic HO scale model railroad trees, I say Ho scale however this technique can be applied to any scale whether N scale or O scale.
This is an easy way of making trees and it’s very cheap especially compared to buying pre made trees! The trees look quite fantastic however depending on the level of detail in the branch structure you may want to detail the front of you layout with the more consistent commercial trees and save these cheap realistic trees for the forest behind the main part of the train layout.
Nevertheless, you can still achieve results that will rival the best trees you can find. You will never know until you give the technique a try, so, it’s time to get out of the house and go for a bush walk to find some bushes for you train layout!
