My good friends at Alpina UK in Nottingham gave me the keys to their XD3 Bi-Turbo for a week. I don't usually get too excited about SUV's or large 4X4's, but I grew to love this piece of German brilliance. Based on the BMW X3 35D, Alpina improve the engine, gearbox, interior, exterior and most notably give it their incredible ride.
