10 Funny Indian Commercials (Indian TVC, Indian adverts)
I put together ten funny Indian commercials. I've wanted to do this for many years but it always seemed difficult for me as an European. India is a huge country with millions of commercials which I don't know and also don't understand. When I started to inform myself, I realized, I was wrong. 1. They don't have millions of commercials, but billions. 2. The ads are not so hard to understand because the advertisements speak for themselves and they often use Hindi and English as well as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and many other of their many other languages. 3. I learned that the Indian adverts don't match the stereotypical perceptions we often have. Not everything is Bollywood, not everyone is dancing, and not everybody wears colorful dresses. Well, sometimes they do ... So I used the occassion to learn more about India, their ads and about their culture. It was an enriching experience. May you enjoy it!
Thanks to the viewer Jyothi Rohan5 who asked me in a comment to come up with such a video - now I did!
