The 6.3-liter V8 M159 engine was tuned to 622 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The redline has been increased from 7,200 rpm to 8,000 rpm, and the titanium exhaust produces a sound that will be remembered for a long time. The addition of an optional Aero Package enhances the SLS AMG Black Series's cultivated aggressiveness with an adjustable carbon-fiber wingspan.
