While the upcoming remake of Final Fantasy VII may only feature minor tweaks to the cast's outfits, that doesn't stop fans from creating new cosplays based on the characters' original designs. This stunning Tifa cosplay from cosplayer Rilinnz is a perfect example, as she captures both the look and personality of Tetsuya Nomura's iconic heroine. The clean presentation of her costume is in stark contrast to the grimy background, evoking the urban setting of Midgar. The red gloves and no stockings are a nod to FF7's 1997 design, while the elbow pad instead of a vambrace is an intriguing touch that is more in keeping with the remake.
As the newest installment to the franchise hits stores, more and more fans are taking to creating their own Tifa cosplays. This take on the character from cosplayer Haruhiism is a great example, as she perfectly blends the original FF7 look with the newer redesign.
