Reviewing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, the latest 2021 budget smartphone from the Chinese giant, costing less than the Mi 11 Lite 5G. However, you're sacrificing the OLED screen of that model and the Pro version, while the camera tech of this affordable phone is a serious let-down. I've been testing the Redmi Note 10 5G for a week following my unboxing so here's my final verdict - and check out my reviews of other best budget smartphones for more ideas.

On the positive side, this Xiaomi phone looks smart (If not as slender as that Mi 11 Lite) and sports all the great features you'd expect. A headphone jack, NFC support, and all those MiUI 12 goodies, check. Performance is strong enough to get gaming on PubG and Call of Duty thanks to that Dimensity 700 chipset. Plus the battery life is excellent, among the very best in 2021.

However, the Redmi Note 10 5G's camera is basic and struggles in any kind of testing conditions. That IPS screen isn't exactly a stunner, although proves fine for a bit of YouTube and whatnot. And compared with the Mi 10T Lite, there's little to recommend here.
