冬至要到了,提前做了汤圆跟小孩一起享用。身在国外,特别想让小孩知道12月除了温馨的圣诞节,也不要忘了华人民间的这个传统节日。

我用半烫面的方式做汤圆的糯米面团。这种方式的做出来的汤圆延展性比较好,适合用来做包馅和造型汤圆。做好的汤圆放凉了也不容易变硬。半烫面的作用跟粄妈相似,但它一盆到底,比较省时省力。

材料:
1)糯米粉 – 100g
2)开水 – 60g
3)室温水 – 25-30g
4)天然色粉
5)红豆馅 – 80g

*操作时准备一小碗水,如果面团变干可以加少量的水再揉一揉。
*揉好的面团要用拧干的湿布或保鲜膜盖着防止变干。

Tang Yuan Ingredients:
1)Glutinous Rice Flour – 100g
2)Boiling Water – 60g
3)Water – 25-30g
4)Nature Food Color Powder
5)Red Bean Paste – 80g

*Get ready a bowl of water while handling the dough so that you can add a little bit of water if the dough gets dry.
*Always cover the dough with damp clothes or plastic wrap to prevent dryness.

Tang Yuan tastes chewy and soft, it does not get harden when it's cool.
