Ningyo-yaki （人形焼） is very popular in Tokyo Asakusa where you can watch them being baked.Ningyo is the Japanese word for doll, so the name of this sweet reads "baked dolls". Ningo-yaki are small cakes baked in small molds and are filled with sweet anko bean paste. Ningyo-yaki are popular souvenirs and it is fun to discover the different shapes made by different shops. Kumamon (くまモン) is a mascot created by the government of Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. It was created in 2010 for a campaign created to draw tourists to the region after the Kyushu Shinkansen line opened.this ningyo yaki is kumamon shaped.
