Lisa Gade reviews the Acer Aspire R7 Windows 8 convertible laptop. This is an unusual machine even by convertible standards, and you can use it in a variety of positions: laptop, tablet, stand mode, presentation mode and more. It has a 15.6" full HD 1920 x 1080 display with 10 points of multi-touch and Intel HD 4000 graphics. It's slim and weighs 5.3 lbs. and run s on a 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 with 6 gigs of RAM, a 500 gig HDD with 24 gig SSD cache drive. The trackpad is behind the backlit keyboard. It sells for $999 US and is exclusive to Best Buy right now.
