As my video of the new 2020 Audi RS7 in glacier white that dropped a week ago, is so popular, here comes now the Tango red, from the same launch, that I tested. The tango red really stands out in the beautiful golden hour colors. As already pointed out about the new RS7:

- How fast is it?
Well, I tested the car several times and it did 0-100 in 3.38 at best with VBox, and did 3.4 seconds pretty much anytime, anyplace. So the 3.6 time by Audi is very controversial, as always. It did 11.6 in a quarter mile with a car fully loaded with luggage, and two people. So, with only one driver it surely is capable of going under 11 seconds.
- How is it to drive?
This is the point that I’m most impressed with. After pushing it hard for almost 2 days on very curvy roads, I’m really stunned by how light it feels, and the handling is amazing thanks to the four wheel steering and the new suspension. Wow. Feels like driving a much much lighter car, and lightyears better than the previous RS7 Performance. I’m really impressed of the cars handling, and at one time the guy that developed the suspension, was my passenger, and he explained how hard they worked to improve the suspension and handling on this car.
And also, the gear changes are insanely fast! Almost like in an R8. Very positively surprised by how fast it changes gears.
- How does it sound?
Well, we all know the new EU-regulations with the OPF filter and that the car can’t rev more than 3k rpm when standing still, and it can’t be as loud anymore. That feels. Without any doubt. Comparing to the C7 generation, the C8 aint as loud. But for example when you let the car running, you hear what beast of an engine it is. Its just so restricted with the sound! A visit at a tuning company, and a new exhaust, will make this car in into the perfect automobile.
The final verdict is that its an incredible fast and potent car, with crazy handling and acceleration, but it misses a bit of the soul from the C7. The pops and crackles are gone, and you can only get them sometimes if you’re lucky. But when you thing of how hard the regulations are from 2019. Audi did a pretty good job here. The car will sell like exclusive cup cakes. An amazing vehicle.
