hi there, wolf pack! :) short little vid of a beauitful puppy drum I caught unexpectedly off the beach surf fishing near Oregon Inlet in North Carolina. The water was crystal clear and we weren't having any luck with regular bait or bottom rigs so I took my rod to the rocks and tried a little jig paddletail action.. Couldn't believe it - second cast! What a rush. Thankful for this beautiful harvest and a great memory. Fishing, bikinis, salt, sand, + good eats. Thanks for watching! see y'all in the next one..

p.s. my second favorite puppy drum recipe is using a simple olive oil and heating in a pan. cut fish into strips and season the drum with redfish magic. fry on both sides a few minutes then DIG IN! tastes BETTER than chicken.. Dang I missed the saltwater!
