This week, we tour a bright and cheery 4-room 1,001 sqft HDB BTO flat in Canberra. Homeowners Arini and Zul always knew they wanted to have an expansive living area and so they knocked down one bedroom to have bifold doors that can be opened up but yet still be closed if they wanted it to still be a room. The kitchen is also an open concept, and we really liked the unique colour choice. It's especially cosy looking and is a great space for Arini who loves to cook.

Because of their backgrounds, their home features art prints and drone shots (Zul's expertise) which provides a unique flavour and character to their home. They also did much of the legwork and communication with the contractors, which allowed them to bring down the cost to less than $25,000. And to make it more affordable, most of the furniture was bought online as well - which was really impressively put together!
