I M P O R T A N T ⚠️
Make sure your masa is hydrated

Tip: when cutting the meat make sure meat is thin sliced and you cut against grain this will prevent you from having tough chewy meat

To hydrate the chiles you just place them in pot with water set on high heat and bring to a boil, as soon as they come to boil, remove from water and allow them to cool down

Ingredients: makes 16 pupusas
For the carne adobada;
4 lbs beef steak of your choice im using flap
6 New Mexico chile pods previously boiled
2 chile anchos previously boiled
2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1/2 onion
5 garlic cloves
1 inch cinnamon stick
1/2 achiote paste
10 whole cloves
1/2 tsp whole cumin
1 tsp peppercorn
1 tsp oregano
Salt I used 5 tsp
1/4 cup white distilled vinagre
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
For the pupusas
5 cups instant corn masa
Salt I used 2 tsp
Hot Water I used 4 cups addd it slowly!
Queso Oaxaca
Cold refriedbeans
1 serving of love 💕
