Today I'm making some reclaimed solid birch shelves using IKEA Ekby Bjarnum shelf brackets. This is a bit of an IKEA shelf hack. I found this IKEA table at the tip. It was destined for the crusher. It's solid birch! Do you know how expensive solid birch is? It's now destined for a number of projects starting with reclaimed solid birch shelves using IKEA shelf brackets. The timber is beautiful and needed nothing more than a clear satin varnish to bring out the natural grain.
