THIS IS IT. THE BIG ONE. This is the LARGEST Excavator Model I have EVER been able to bring into the studio to build for the World to See!! It is made by a company in China called LESU. Viewers of my show will recognize the name from a previous, smaller version of a "Kobelco" (actually a Komatsu), PC360 model that we built during the winter months. Well, now the BiG DADDY of them all is here and Im going to be building it over the next month or so. I was eager to unbox it today, to discover why the box was 35KG! I wasn't disappointed. There is a LOT of machine here for me to build, and with this weight - I think its going to have some power behind it. Every machine has it's quirks.. I'm sure this one will reveal its own to me, in time.

The build itself is not overly complicated - although prepping, and painting all of these pieces will be the most time consuming of all. Not to mention, painting does not make a great video series.. Lol, its like watching paint dry. Most of that I will be doing off camera.

Im not stuck on any one color - do you have a suggestion on what color the Excavator - "PROJECT: JOHNSON" should be painted?! If you say black.. we will all have a good chuckle.
