Inside A $45K Peranakan Themed Interior Designed HDB | Stacked Living In HDB Home Tour
Situated in a serene neighbourhood around Upper Thomson, this Peranakan-inspired HDB home is a pretty amazing one as it was purely designed by the owners themselves. As they already knew what they wanted in a home, they hired an ID just to settle the project management side of things - and the overall costs came out to $45,000.
Most of the furnitures featured are loose and modular, and the owners have made an extra effort to source and support local businesses (The Gallery House, Scene Shang, Hock Siong). One cool feature is the balcony, which was closed up before, but they decided to open it up as a more hospitable area for plants and just to hang out.
Special thanks to @ourresalehdb for letting us showcase their home!
