The 2023 Maserati Grecale is arguably the most important new model ever to be released by Italy’s trident brand – both in Australia and abroad.

Just as the Cayenne and Macan effectively guaranteed Porsche’s ongoing profitability, Maserati’s second SUV follows in the wheel tracks of the larger Levante and is tasked with bringing more volume, profit and new customers to Alfa Romero’s sister brand.

However, the Grecale doesn’t come cheap and faces stiff competition from established payers like the Macan, Audi Q5, BMW X3/X4, Jaguar F-PACE, Mercedes-Benz GLC/GLB and Range Rover Evoque.
