Senior & Beginner Workout - Low Impact Cardio & Balance Toning
Tone and shape all your leg muscles while increasing your heart rate in this fun workout and includes low impact cardio as well as strengthening exercises. Your muscles will be challenged as you work on balance and stability working in all planes of motion. These specific exercises are great for knee pain as well because you are working all the muscles surrounding and supporting the knees.
As always, make this workout your own. The bigger you make the movements, the more your heart rate will increase. If you find it too difficult, you can always just move the legs and not the arms. Need a bigger challenge? Do the whole workout again for a second set!
All you need is a sturdy chair to hold on to for a few of the moves, or as needed for balance support.
