My New Cooking Series Flagged Down By The New YouTube Algorithm:

Last week Just after I launched a new cooking series called: "Let's talk about michelin star recipes" I quickly realized that talking about well known chefs and their recipes was not really welcome by the new Youtube algorithm.

My second video quickly got the yellow dollar sign treatment and the limited or no ads sentences that everyone fears appeared along with it.

When this happens your video will not be monetized and could potentially even be blocked.

But why was my cooking video marked down and blacklisted by the youtube algorithm( 2017) ? Well this is part of the new and stricter Youtube rules that have taken effect recently.

In this video I discuss what happen to my cooking video and how did successfully request for YouTube to remove the yellow dollar icon and the infamous "limited or no ads" status.

I would like to mention that as of 2017 it is advisable to all small channel (even cooking channels) to be very careful of what you write in your titles, tags,thumbnails and description as amongst other things your video could be flagged with copyright issues.
