While many of New York’s luxury apartment buildings take the shape of supertall skyscrapers, a development at the northernmost point of Greenpoint breaks from the mold. The two towers of Eagle + West look like a jumble of textured blocks, one the mirror image of the other. Designed by OMA, the apartment project is the culmination of a years-long push to rezone and repair Brooklyn’s industrial waterfront.
