This week, we feature our first Executive Condominium home in the very new Hundred Palms Residences. It's a 1,012 square feet 3 bedroom apartment, set on the top floor with swimming pool views. Home owners Joshua and Joanne wanted something different, especially for their living area as that was where they spent most of their time in. They engaged Joshua's brother as their ID from Bud Studio (coincidentally, the same designer from last week!), and basically gave him free reign to express his creativity.

One of the major works done was to hack away the walls of one of the bedrooms, that plus the high ceilings in the living meant that their extended living room now looked a lot more open and spacious. Curves are definitely in trend at the moment, and that curve was given to the ceiling as well as the floor to give symmetry to the space.

We especially like the platform that was created as it is both practical and gives a feeling of cosiness. The floor contains storage for seasonal items, and with cushions there it doubles up as a comfortable reading nook as well.

Special thanks to Joshua and Joanne for taking the time to show us around their warm and inviting family home!
