UniSA engineering students design world’s longest bicycle

UniSA mechanical engineering students, in conjunction with Santos, have designed and successfully manufactured the world’s longest bicycle. Unveiled at the Santos Tour Down Under in January 2015, the bicycle is 41.9 meters long and seats 20 riders. The previous record, set in the Netherlands in 2011, was a bike measuring 35.79 meters.
