Skyline 1 & 2 @ Bukit Batok is a pretty big HDB development, containing a total of 1,232 units. Due to the size of it, we'd only be covering Skyline 1 in our tour, but they are both pretty similar in terms of offerings. So Skyline 1 and 2 are situated along both sides of Bukit Batok Avenue 1, so they were designed to represent a gateway into the Bukit Batok Town. There's a range of 3, 4, and 5-room Premium flats that range from 23 to 38 stories in height. So those living on the higher floors can get pretty far out views over the west of Singapore.

The development is designed to be an extension of the park connector as well, so you can get in your daily walking/jogging easily without having to go too far. What's quite special is the underpass playground, which is a good use of the space - and the landscaping is very decent too. Of course, because you are under a flyover it does get quite noisy because of the traffic, but the shade is actually very useful during a hot day.

Amenities-wise, Bukit Batok West Shopping Centre and West Mall are located quite close by. For MRT needs though, Bukit Batok MRT station does look quite nearby but it can be up to a 15-minute walk. Of course, the good thing is you are just one stop away from Jurong East MRT where JEM, JCube, Westgate and IMM are located at. For families with younger children, nearby schools that are within the 1 km radius will include Crest Secondary, Bukit Batok Secondary and Yuhua Primary.
