We expanded our action map and what better way than to do it in the capital of Spain! Madrid welcomes us with all its splendor, even in times of pandemic, the charm of this historic city is eternal.
We begin this first video of Madrid in the Usera district, we are in the southern part of the center and we are approaching the heart of the city crossing the Arganzuela area, where we in turn cross the Manzanares river, to head towards the famous Atocha railway station where we cross it to join the Paseo del Prado.
This pleasant walk takes us to the Neptune Fountain, where one of the most important museums in the country is located, The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum (https://www.museothyssen.org/).
Very close to there, going up the Plaza de las Cortes, we can see the Congress of Deputies, where the Lower House of the Cortes Generales is, the constitutional body that represents the Spanish people. Back at the Fountain of Neptune, taking Felipe IV street, we passed one of the most important museums in the world, the Prado Museum (https://www.museodelprado.es/en).
Further along Alfonso XII street and leaving to the right Retiro Park, we come to Puerta de Alcalá, the old royal gate that gave access to the city that also gives the street its name and where we finished this first tour of the Center of Madrid.
I have made this video and its description with all respect for the city and its people. If at any time someone is offended or I have described something wrong, I apologize in advance.
