Hand carving a saw frame with axe and knife. A design ideal for wilderness living. Open the full video description for more information.

It's the saw design I have used on most of my bushcraft trips so far. Both made from oak wood - worked green.

Most asked questions:

1. What wood did you use?
Oak - green straight from the tree... Most wood will work just fine - but hardwood is better than pine and similar soft wood.

2. Can I buy a saw like that?
You need to make one yourself or pay for custom work. I don't sell anything.

3. How long time does the saw blade "rivets" last?
Mine last easily a month or more, even if I use soft wood like pine.

4. What blade do you use?
52cm long blade made for cutting dry wood. Made by BAHCO and bought just in the local hard ware store.
