This week has been pretty chill for smartphone and technology launches, with the Nokia 1.4 being one of the only new mobiles on the block. This budget phone is HMD's first release of 2021 and could be one of the best smartphones under £100, with guaranteed updates for three years. Unboxing and review of the Nokia 1.4 hopefully coming soon.

We also check out Xiaomi's slick Mi Air Charge wireless charging tech, which can beam 5W of power over a distance of a few metres. The Xiaomi Air Charge smarts aren't ready for public consumption just yet but hopefully it'll be available soon.

Google has also culled its in-house Stadia development team, possibly the latest nail in a soon-to-be-complete coffin?
