This song is dedicated to Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors...everywhere!!!! Yes, it's true there are survivors in all walks of life. I just happen to be a brain injury survivor, so I speak to those needs and people. If you've had a brain injury then you know what it's like to wake everyday and have to climb Mt. Everest. Some days are better and easier than others but everyday, we struggle. It takes 5 times the energy for someone with a brain injury to perform the same task as someone without a brain injury. That's what I mean when I say we climb Mt. Everest everyday. I have yet to encounter a TBI survivor that doesn't struggle with energy issues, along with many other issues.

I want to encourage all of you to participate in the gift of music!!!! Playing an instrument can improve your quality of life, like no other activity you can participate in. It helps to unlock memories (another issue we all struggle with), improves coordination, restores normal speech patterns and recall becomes easier. There is simply NO OTHER activity that has the same healing benefits as playing an instrument. As I've said a million times....the magic happens at the keyboard. Don't give up!!!! Keeping pushing ahead!! Rest when you need to and get up and go again!!!!!! Your life WILL improve!!!!!!!!
