3 TYPES OF JAPANESE NOODLES | Ramen, Udon & Soba | What The Differences Are
In Japan, sometimes the amount of choice when it comes to noodles is a bit bewildering. I'm here to cast some light on the subject. I get into what makes each noodle unique in texture and taste. Both ramen and udon are made with wheat flower but udon has less water in the batter mix and is cut thicker than ramen noodles. Soba noodles are a gluten free, buckwheat noodle cut in the same way as ramen noodles but with a cleaner vegan taste. I will also post a video on other noodles like yakisoba in the future.
