The island of Gods, Bali, is a popular holiday destination featuring tropical forests and pristine beaches. On its southern coast, a remote private stretch of beach houses Bali's famous luxury hotels, the Bulgari Resort Bali.

This striking destination is one of the classiest properties in Bali. Playing successor to the jeweler Bulgari’s urban hang-out in Milan, the resort offers a sophisticated experience that most travelers desire. There are also diving sites, surfing waves, fabulous hikes, coral reefs, and volcanic mountains.

When the respected Italian jeweler decided to enter the hotel industry, he operated a joint venture with Marriott International’s Luxury Group. The partnership resulted in six luxury hospitality properties consisting of hotels and resorts. The Bvlgari Resort Bali is their second site.

Opened in 2006, it is perhaps their most exotic location yet. Constructed in an exclusive beach spot, it combines the beauty of unspoiled nature with a high Italian style. Moreover, with its five pearl rating, it is one of the best Bali beach resorts.

Resort Bali is located in Uluwatu, Indonesia. The location is simply epic, with mesmerizing views of the ocean and breathtaking beauty of unspoiled natural sceneries. It cascades down the lush hillside towards a private beach along the southern coast of Bali. Moreover, although there is nothing too exciting within its walking distance, except a few village shops, the renowned cliff-top Uluwatu Temple is merely four miles away.

Built at the edge of a cliff that projects into the sea, the temple is worth visiting. However, when you do come here, be sure to hold on to your belongings, as the temple monkeys are notorious snatchers. Though, if they steal any of your things, you’ll need to persuade them to give it back in exchange for fruits or nuts.

All the other local attractions require car access. The Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 11 miles away. Additionally, the town of Kuta and Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is 20 and 40 minutes drive away.

The hotel is entirely designed by Italian architects who used local materials like hand-cut volcanic stones and exotic woods. It boasts a Milan meets Garden of Eden style with Frangipani-draped stone pathways and exclusive thatched-roof villas.

Furthermore, each villa is carefully secluded behind fortress-like walls to ensure privacy. Additionally, all the public places feature exotic art pieces, Balinese antiques, and numerous local handicrafts.

Living Spaces
The resort offers a choice between villas and mansions. There are one or two-bedroom villas, each decorated with rich textiles. They also feature dark wood with sharp angles that give them a moodier appearance.

Moreover, the villas feature high ceilings and volcanic stone walls. There are also huge windows that display fantastic ocean views, an airy living area, and an outdoor plunge pool. Additionally, the mansions have separate entrances and staff quarters with open-air living rooms, modern kitchens, heated outdoor pools, and a private elevator.

The most luxurious living accommodation here is the Bulgari villa. The 1,300 square meters unit is a cliff villa that includes two bedrooms. Furthermore, a private entrance conducts into this exclusive 1,300 meters unit that includes a spa room and even a private on-site cinema. Also, it is usually booked for weddings and events because of the sheer size and luxurious amenities.
