Reviewing the best smartwatches of 2021, including premium smart wearables like the Apple Watch Series 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, to budget friendly options from Huawei, Realme, Amazfit and more. I've tested all of these smartwatches with iPhone/Android and here's how they compare, plus which are my favourites.

From fitness tracking and sports features to customisable faces, most smartwatches these days come with similar smarts. Although not all can download fresh apps like the Apple Watch and Wear OS devices. Still, if your budget is tight then I've rounded up some of the best cheaper smartwatches including the Huawei Watch GT2 and GT2e, the Honor GS Pro and Amazfit T-Rex Pro (which are both rugged).

If battery life is your main concern, the TicWatch Pro 3 is among the greatest Wear OS options. However, the Amazfit GTR 2e and Huawei's smartwatches offer much stronger returns, even with heavy fitness tracking and use.
