Despite the blackness of his worldview, Schopenhauer also comes with solutions to make life endurable on this terrible, desolate rock infested by continual suffering. In his work Aphorismen zur Lebensweisheit (in English: Aphorisms on the Wisdom of Life), he presents his ideas on how we can live our lives in such a way that we prevent misery as much as possible.
