Follow my process where I build a set of Custom Made Dresser Drawers/Chest of Drawers with an End Grain Chevron Pattern and Polished Brass.
I have chosen Tasmanian Oak for this project, mostly because of its stability and light coloured appearance. The quarter sawn boards not only help with minimal movement but provide an appealing pattern on the chevron.
I have used pine for the drawer boxes as well as Blum drawer runners for their soft close and push to open capabilities.
I've used Osmo Poly X Satin for the finish. My process is to apply the first coat with a roller, then apply the second sparingly and buff with a white non abrasive pad.
