Dr. Samyak Dhawan is an alumnus of DPS Faridabad. He spoke about his unconventional choices in life and motivated the audience to not be afraid of taking the road less travelled by. Dr. Samyak Dhawan is the founder of Indian Vitiligo Association, a non profit organisation that aims at creating general awareness about Vitiligo while making treatment affordable for patients by subsidising costs through its partnered doctors. A physician turned MBA, Dr. Dhawan first hand witnessed the socio-economic disparities in India pertaining to healthcare. He then realized that his true calling was for the masses and entrepreneurship was the way forward. Armed with an MBA in Healthcare Management, he is now working towards alleviating the disease burden associated with Vitiligo in India.
