Inside A Charming Rustic 5-Room HDB With A Japan Cafe-Inspired Study + Unique Sneaker Display
This week, we tour a relaxingly rustic 5-room HDB in Tampines. Home owners Matt and Alle didn't have a style in mind, but the only thing that they were firm on was the usage of wood in the house - more specifically, the use of Teak wood. This was partially because of Matt and his family's obsession with Teak (expensive, but it is long lasting).
What we really like is how the home looks so homely, especially with all the plants displayed in the living area. The study room with the windows (inspired from their travels in Japan) really gives off a very relaxing open vibe. We particularly like the sneaker display by the living room, as it adds a splash of colour and vibrancy to the space - while showing off their minimalist collection.
Special thanks to Matt and Alle for their warm hospitality in showing us around their home! For more inspiration please visit @thewoodyhome
