Welding In Ultra Slow Motion is So Slow and So Close in Macro that it almost looks alien, the way that the metals and current interact when slowed down this much is amazing. This was shot at 60,000 Frames per second in Ultra High Speed with the Phantom v2512.It was amazing how the ball of molten filler metal forms on the electrode is released and flies in mid air into the weld puddle, as well as the little pieces of molten metal splashing into the pool of molten material and creating ripples, very educational indeed.
We may film a complete episode on Welding of all different types in slow motion in the near future if everyone likes this video.
