I've always been trying to learn to read faster and faster - half as a game with myself, and half because it's actually proven useful (in exams and for reading informational books).

🎧 I've tried every technique in the book (pun intended) and have found the one thing that brings all tactics together and supercharges my speed-reading is Speechify - I'm sure this isn't the app's main purpose, but it works SO well for it.

🙏 What I'm not saying in this video is that speed reading is fun - it strips away any enjoyment in the process and the words - so I only use it for dry/over-written non-fiction, I still take my literature nice and slow. This is just meant to hopefully help those of us already looking to improve this skill :)
