As much as we value our famous tourist spots, we should also start looking at the protected areas that play an important part in the environment and how they could be great for sustainable tourism initiatives.

The Year of Protected Areas campaign is led by the DENR through the Biodiversity Management Bureau and BIOFIN in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). It shines a light on all the beautiful Protected Areas we have in the PH and what we should do to keep them protected.
