A Village in #INDIA with No Neighborhood (2021) | SHIYA | Documentary Film | Himachal Pradesh

This film is a portrait of #SHIYA village and follows the everyday life of this village which has no Neighbourhood. It is a slow-paced observational documentary that touches upon the cultural, Living, Struggle, Challenges and social realities of the region, creating the feeling of “being there”.

We travelled and Explored the area of #DALHOUSIE by staying for 30 days, capturing Landscapes from the Deep Mountains, dancing Waterfalls, singing Birds, Animals to Local Festivals and Culture of Dalhousie and its nearby Villages and Places like KARELNU, BANIKHET, DAINKUND, KALATOP, and LAKKADMANDI, etc.

This video is Shooted during that 30 days under "THE SEED PROGRAMME" run by lightcube ( http://lightcube.in/ ) which is a Film Collective in New Delhi. Lightcube also publishes Film Journal which is called UMBRA. Umbra is a quarterly newspaper on screen culture published by Lightcube.
