Rio Sul, in Botafogo, is one of the main shopping malls in Rio de Janeiro.

Inaugurated on April 28, 1980 in Rio de Janeiro.

It is considered one of the most popular shopping centers in Brazil, having, according to Exame magazine, national importance.

With a privileged location in Botafogo, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, it overlooks tourist attractions such as Pão de Açúcar and Corcovado. It has a varied mix of stores spread over four floors, in addition to having a home center with more than 26 decoration stores, two food courts and a terrace with space for events, restaurants and a unit at the Body Tech gym.

In the beginning of 2006, the project to revitalize the mall was initiated, which is expected to end by the end of 2007. In addition to a new facade, the project modernized several characteristics.

Rio Sul was elected, in the survey "Marcas dos cariocas" (survey of the newspaper O Globo from Grupo Troiano de Branding), as one of the five main shopping malls that live in the heart of those who live in Rio de Janeiro.
